INFINITT North America to Showcase Two Web-based Orthopedic PACS Options
One designed for the hospital or outpatient clinic, and the other
a pay-per-study version for lower-volume physician practices
AAOS, Las Vegas, Nevada – February 25, 2009 -- INFINITT North America (Booth
#5052) will be showcasing the latest generation INFINITT PACS with optional Digital
Orthopedic Templating software, as well as the INFINITT Smart-NET PACS, which is
a hosted/pay-per-study option that is well-suited to lower-volume physician practices
that want to transition to digital imaging without the high up-front investment and IT
support requirements.
Both systems are web-based, allowing physician access to images from any Internetconnected
or wireless PC. Both systems are available in a dual-monitor configuration
that allows for side-by-side comparison of the current exam with a prior exam, or two
exams from different modalities, or the exam on one screen with the radiologist’s report
on the other. Both systems interface easily with existing EMR, practice management and
billing systems to enhance workflow.
The INFINITT Orthopedic PACS has an intuitive, easy-to-learn GUI, and offers viewing,
storage and retrieval of digital images plus a full set of visualization and analytical tools.
The INFINITT Smart-NET PACS is a full-featured PACS alternative that leaves the
archiving, backup, security and database maintenance issues to INFINITT.
