Phillipsburg, NJ (May 18, 2010) - INFINITT North America, a technology leader in web-based image and information management solutions, announced a marketing partnership with INVIA Medical Imaging Solutions (Ann Arbor, MI) to enable INFINITT Cardiology PACS users seamless access to advanced quantification, reporting and image display features for nuclear cardiology applications.
Developed at the University of Michigan, Corridor4DM is a comprehensive tool for cardiovascular physicians and technologists. When launched from within the INFINITT Cardiology PACS viewer, Corridor4DM integrates SPECT and PET modalities for the accurate assessment of cardiac perfusion function and metabolism. The application includes quality assurance measures; intelligent workflows for greater efficiency; the quantification of myocardial perfusion, function and viability; multiple review screens; and integrated reporting with customizable templates. All of these features are available in a single, configurable application.
Integration with the Infinitt Cardiology PACS allows study findings, images and DICOM cine loops to be sent from Corridor4DM back to the PACS for review, storage and distribution. The patient's report is built using Infinitt's Nuclear Medicine report templates or, optionally, Corridor4DM's report generator -- both ICANL compliant.
4DM's configurable user interface and tight integration with the Infinitt PACS help streamline nuclear cardiology workflows: the elimination of dictation and transcription result in improved report turnaround and referring physician access to reports and images.
