INFINITT North America announces integration of digital mammography with advanced Web-Based PACS/RIS/3D Solutions
PHILLIPSBURG, NJ — May 8, 2008 –
INFINITT North America, a technology leader in RIS, PACS and 3D Imaging, today announced the release of INFINITT Mammo PACS, a web-based, multi-modality PACS solution designed to streamline the way breast imaging studies are displayed, read, archived and distributed.
INFINITT Mammo PACS offers all the characteristic advantages of digital imaging along with the wide area access, seamless integration, customization capabilities and efficiency that INFINITT products have become recognized for.
Configured with 5-mega pixel, flat panel grayscale monitors, the INFINITT Mammo PACS provides screening and diagnostic tools specific to mammography and allows users to read FFDM, US, MRI and general radiographic images on a single workstation. It includes PACS workflow features like access to digitized priors, comparative review, automated presets for display, and advanced hanging protocols that can be customized for user and modality preferences.
“Productivity gains with digital mammography are greatest when Mammography studies are integrated with specialized mammography workflow and reporting tools,” said Charles Kim, Executive Vice President of INFINITT NA. “The INFINITT Mammo PACS can be purchased as a standalone application, but integration with the INFINITT RIS and PACS provides access to additional features such as digital dictation, document imaging, CD burning and MQSA reporting.”
The INFINITT Mammo PACS includes customizable reading layouts and sequences for full-field digital mammography systems and support for digital mammography computer aided detection (CAD). CAD markings can be applied to the digital mammography images and archived for future reference.
INFINITT Mammo PACS provides improved image quality with CLAHE (contrast limited adaptive histogram equalization) and supports an ‘ON-Call’ function that downloads the large datasets into local computer storage, allowing faster speeds for viewing Mammography images.
