INFINITT Healthcare Platform (VNA)

Interoperability

IHE – Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise --a non-profit organization founded by HIMSS and RSNA-- enables the collaboration of healthcare providers and industry leaders to work together to improve interoperability and exchange of health information.

IHE promotes the coordinated use of established standards such as DICOM and HL7.  IHE Profiles provide a standards-based framework for sharing information within facilities and across networks by addressing critical interoperability issues related to information access, clinical workflow, security, administration and information infrastructure. (“Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE”))INFINITT has been involved with IHE since its inception.

INFINITT has participated in and successfully demonstrated conformance with IHE Integration Profiles at IHE Connectathons every year from 2001- 2015.
